The Buildings
Below are indexes to summary profiles of two centuries worth of East Side buildings, grouped by street blocks for easy reference. This includes every structure erected on Jarvis Street since Samuel Peters Jarvis first built his estate in 1824.

Each summary is linked to the buildings that came before and after it to allow readers to travel back and forth in time between the original development of the property and the current occupant.
Summaries also include highlights of the building's architecture and occupants and a slide show of historical photos, blueprints, newspaper clippings and/or property maps. In some cases, they will link to a comprehensive historical profile that fleshes out the building's complete story.
By default, existing buildings are identified by their current address and past buildings by their address at time of demolition. If they had historical addresses other than these, this will be noted in the summary.
